Club in Chicago; the Ontario Racquet Club in
Mississauga (Toronto), Ontario; and Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University
in Blacksburg, VA.

Rules part 1
How and where can I play ? : You register through the NFSCtour web site or call any of the
platform clubs. You may view the hosting clubs on the home
page.
The event director of your region will be able to decide if you are eligible or not.
He could ask you to test your serve. Than decide which month you may play.
What is the fee ? : It is up to the club hosting your region to decide of a fee. They
will advise you. All profits will go to TABC
Duration:
Each events are two (2)
hours duration (120minutes). Limited to four (4) players at each time. The club is allowed
to organize as many qualifying rounds during the same week end that he needs too. The goal
is to find the fastest server.
To be able to test the speed of your serve you need to go in one of the clubs hosting the
event ( see the map on home page) and make arrangements with the tennis director.
Participation: Four(4) players maximum per event to play
four (4) rounds each. Or the club can allow more players at the time and
The Club may organize a regional Championship to allow it's best servers to perform one
more time again before the Championship. There are no winners in these events. Although
the Club may do so for it's own entertainment.
The club may organize as many qualifying rounds as he needs too. Although the clubs must
respect the dates of the NFSCtour schedule.
Installation of the
electronic equipment: The radar and LAD must be installed exactly
at the position where the NFSCtour has supplied each clubs.
These radars are one of the best performing radars today. If the players are well notified
of it's performance, the target of the serve , where the ball needs to land, where the
player needs to stand, nothing will be more precise than the NFSCtour radar.
Open to all tennis
players
Professionals and Amateurs tennis players with their coach, if available.
The eight (8) fastest servers will be invited to the Championship as described.
The NFSCtour Championship's location will be announce soon.
Rules
part 2:
ON
THE COURT: One chair umpire,
4 linesman: center line, foot faults, service line and side lines (2), ball boys (2)
Each players have 3 minutes (clocked) per round (4) and serve 30 balls. Only the good
serves count. each players will have 120 balls to hit total per event.
Technical: The net has to be installed at 3 feet in the
middles and 3 feet 6 inches on the side lines. The white strap has to be installed
straight to the white center line. salt can be used on service lines to help the line
persons. A mark can be taped on top of the net to show the directions of the serve. The
club may mark the service line for a better target aim. They may draw a six (6) feet
diameter chalk circle at the baseline for the player's platform as mentionned
in the club's installation.
The radar is installed to register the serves on the deuce side. The event director must
notify each players of the radar functions.
This installation has to be verified prior to scheduled events.
Players
are allowed to be supported by his personal coach right on the court. The coach is allowed
to stand at 6 feet besides his player.
The event
Director pre-schedules the order of the players. First round: players 1,2,3,4, round two:
2,3,4,1, round three: 3,4,1,2, round four: 4,1,2,3,
Players are
allowed a 30 minute warm up session prior to the start of the event.
The ATP
tennis rules are in force at the exception if the ball hits the net and falls in the
service square. It's called good.
Players may
use a modified tennis racquet but needs as long as he respects the ATP rules. Stringing is
at their discretion.
The strings
can be modified for the racquet in any material possible. No restrictions.
Professional and amateur players are invited to participate. |
